Below are the steps to use Wireless PowerShare on a compatible Samsung Galaxy phone to charge other smartphones wirelessly, just like what a wireless charger should do.
Galaxy S10 is the example.
Step 1. On the Samsung Galaxy S10 smartphone, swipe down from the top of the screen to see the notifications and quick settings.
Step 2. Swipe down again to see all the quick settings.
Step 3. Find Wireless PowerShare and tap it. Now you should see the Wireless PowerShare screen appear with the notification message “Ready to Charge”.
Step 4. Place the Galaxy S10 phone facedown.
Step 5. Place the phone or the device you need to charge onto the exact center of the back of the Galaxy S10 phone.
Done! The Wireless PowerShare screen on the Galaxy S10 phone will display the message “Charging” and then close.
You should notice the phone you want to charge is charging.
If the Samsung Galaxy phone is at low battery status, under 30%, Wireless PowerShare won’t work. The phone will first prompt you with the message “Charge the battery to at least 30% to share power”.
You will need to charge the Galaxy phone first.
The good thing is, you can use the Galaxy phone to charge other devices while it’s charging.
Let’s take Samsung Galaxy S10 as the example again.
Connect the Galaxy S10 phone to power supply, turn on Wireless PowerShare, and place another phone back-to-back on the Galaxy S10 phone. Done.
